outdoor sculpture exhibition at Park Hill Orchard, Easthampton

Here’s the obligatory shot of the Big Red Frame. Our visit this year was cut short by rainy weather so we didn’t get to look at everything.

Park Hill Orchard: Art in the Orchard ’16

This year was an alumni show, with permanent works and some new works by artists who have shown before.

Balance Stick by Brian Leff
Still standing strong and rotating as the wind blows – the main “stick” is a birch trunk and currently growing fungus, which is cool, but I don’t know if it will last forever.

We’re On the Road to Nowhere by Elizabeth Denny and Pat Bennet
Supposedly ridable, but I wasn’t brave enough to try.

The subtle turf bodies have mysteriously remained intact for a year – I’m not sure how these hold their form.
