Very exacting large drawings – I’m not certain of the medium – the gallery attendant thought they were acrylic, but up close they looked like marker.

Oxbow Gallery
Painter Marlene Rye’s solo show at Oxbow also featured the event Motion, a collaboration between the painter and the dancers Beth Znosko, Margaret Bowrys and the Clark Dance Theatre. While the dancers performed their pieces, Rye worked on a painting (visible at left).
